Hi, my name is Carolyn Simmons, the founder of Passionate Maker.

I’ve been a maker my whole life, even before “maker” was a name anyone used.  Sewing, painting, knitting, gardening, crafting, you name it.  I’ve made it. 

And I’ve spent way to much time researching, deciding, and trying to choose the best gear, tools and techniques that sometimes I feel like I literally fell down the rabbit hole of analysis paralysis.  

So, I started this website with one simple mission:  to make it easier for makers find the right tools and techniques so they can spend more of their precious free time doing what they love…creating.
